House of Opportunities

How about discovering impactful initiatives that have found anwers to current global challenges and can be replicated in your local context?

The House of Opportunities – Haus der Möglichkeiten - is a space for creativity and inspiration: 45 initiatives, organisations and companies from Germany, Europe and other countries around the world present successful solutions to global challenges as climate change, energy transition, lack of skilled workers, sustainability, migration and integration. They are part of the Solutions Exhibition, all of them inviting to be replicated and multiplied by local companies, institutions and volunteers.

The Solutions Exhibition is presented in an interactive format that enablesconversations and allows participants to engage, identifying solutions they wouldwant to implement in their local context. Implementation of individual initiatives and solutions can be discussed and planned.

Accompanying events are offered: lectures, workshops and conferenceson the topics and solutions of the exhibition rounds off the offer. The House of Opportunities also presents local artists who deal with currentsocial challenges in an artistic way. Local associations and organizationswill present themselves and invite to engage with them.

 

The House of Opportunities is a pilot project open to the public from April toJune 2024. It is  run as a cooperation between the City of Soltau  in LowerSaxony, Germany and Ursula Heimann & Partner UG. It is financed with fundsfrom the Resilient Inner Cities Funding Program.
