On September 13, 2023, the German Federal Cabinet approved the National Strategy for Social Innovations and Companies Oriented to the Common Good (SIGU). It was developed as a cooperation between the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK).

Seven guidelines provide orientation to promote socially innovative companies in eleven specific areas of action.

I presented the strategy briefly in my monthly column in the regional daily newspaper Böhmezeitung in October 2023.
